You've gotta admit, though, that he makes a good point even in his most cynical descriptions.

Some people on this forum love to badmouth him and his Guide, but to this day I have not seen anyone come up with a more convincing timeline.

Just can't imagine how much time he spent on compiling all this information . He must really love electronic music.

Can't agree with all of his points, but still he has some good ones - he really does hate Dutch Trance - "ferry corsten killed it"

:p

Interesting... I liked it until the " Up" part. But the final message was great.. Don't follow the DJ, follow trance... or something like that.

But I have to admit, when I read the first couple slides I was starting to get pissed about this "Rave" and "DJ Tiesto" and wondered why I was reading it. :stongue:

You're wrong. This is sooo true, as Kopi said. Some people are more interrested in the DJ than the music. I mean, why does everyone face the DJ, jump up and down with their hands in the air and tributing the DJ?

Tiesto is a DJ, yes, but I don't rate him in that matter. But I KNOW that his producing-skills are crappy crappy crappy. So why is he so famous? Because alot of people doesn't care about his DJ- or producingskills - all they care about is HIM as a person, and the fact that he is famous. Personally I don't know much about Tiesto, but I KNOW that his producing skills are bad. Therefore I don't like him. And I don't care about DJs, so that's not a factor in "me not liking him" although he may be a good one.

I don't see the point of paying so much attention to the things people here don't like.

Trance became commercial, money doesn't stink; now know that, and choose: live the underground scene whenever you can or follow DJs.

Give him some credit, though. I mean he became famous for a reason. He must have done something right. I don't hate EVERYTHING he does, he's good for a few of his productions and his DJ set wasn't horrendous. Saw him in ibiza a few summers back and his set was bangin, imo.

maybe everything sounds good on amnesia's speaker system...
