SOund Forge disagrees :p

@ some of the people who didnt like the tunes, which ones? and any particular reason? And which did you like?

After several more times listening to this set I can't help but to feel the way I do. This simply wasn't my "cup of tea" as you put it. You selected these tunes to aim at a specific crowd and that crowd has spoken --they love your mix. To be honest I did not have a liking to any of the tracks played. Although I do want to know one thing: When you finished your mix, were you amazed and excited at the final result of your mix? Did this set strike you as something energetic? If you answered yes then I guess all this was a matter of taste. If you answered no, then you should have had a stricter track selection and selected the better tunes. Don't be discouraged though because I'm looking forward to more of your sets (hopefully more energetic).

-Peace.

Thats really fair. I had a great time mixing this and i know if i heard it i would get into it. A lot of these tunes really go off in a club enviroment.. they really shine on a massive club system (ive heard some of them played by other djs and myself in clubs) and its a real clubby bassy vibe.. It doesnt truly "sink in" on the speakers in your bedroom.. even on my monitors and stereo its still not the same. But i really appreciate your comments. Sometimes negative feedback is more useful and helpful than positibe feedback (as long as its constructive). My previous mix may not be completely up your alley either, but its slightly different, a little darker, more natural sound, kinda? I starts of SLOW- considering thats one of the things you commented on (speed/energy you may not love it.. buts its a very "proggresive"(hate that word) in that it picks up as it rolls on.. and by the end its a whole different story.

Thanks again!

Good stuff! I rarely ever dl from here and post reviews because I can't find much that I'm interested in. You seem to have diverse tastes that makes it all refreshing, which shines through your track selection.

I could feel this gritt, very techy, like sand or rocks in your shoes. I especially loved that tune at 35:00! So glitchy and geeky and.. yes. I just don't feel the tune at 19 min fit at all. It threw everything ajar a bit, especially those vocals. Whomever did that remix or production... it just doesn't work imo as a track alone. And then add it in your mix and then the previous and following tune turn ugly because they become sort of tainted. I liked the ladder part of the mix more than the first. It seemed to get more techy and gritty with time. I'm not a fan of vocals so I guess I would be partial :toothless Reminds me kind of a little, orphan twin of Haak. I'm burning this one. The breakdown at 42:47 is ace :tongue3

Edit* yeah, my fave is definately from around 33:00 - 50:00. Machine clikkity beep tick.donk BOOM. goodness.

Ok. I fibbed. My fave is the track at 49:00. That was the highlight for me, into the build, or rather a teaser. :eyes:

I know how you are really into the clickity click shum diggity boom techtastic stuff, which i am too, but not 100%... i have to diversify!

The breakdown @ 42:47.. gotta love a bit of well placed effects! :p
