I barely lisen to livets, i dot get the time, and i dunno its not for me i guess.. i prefer albums (Mix cd or Albums), stuff from the DJ promotion board, and just tunes, but never really listen to sets.. not really my thing in general..

And I hate seeing tracklists of other djs, id rather just find tunes myself.. i hate seeing what everyone else is playing.. it clounds my judgment. Not that I won't spin tunes other djs spin... I dunno, I'm weird like that...

So..

Any other non liveseteers?

I cant stay away from Livesets. I love hearing quality mixing and i cant mix for . Plus its my way of dicovering new tracks.

I only listen to livesets

you can listen to new stuff, not released yet. different styles of mixing. I feel when I listen to a track usually the beginning and the end are boring, I like transitions!

i listen to livesets...prefer the energy that i get when listeing to a live set...the crowd screaming and all..of course i don't get the quality that i can get from a mix cd...but i'm willing to sacrifice that for a 'live crowd' screaming in the background...

I almost never listen to livesets, I prefer to buy a bunch of tracks I like and then make my own mix cd

I hardly ever listen to live sets, the usually poor quality grinds me too much

160kbs or nothing!

well 99% of the time cds are done with computers any way. so the mixing is a joke. of course there are the few exceptions (tiesto, dieselboy, etc.) but that being said, i would much rather listen to a live set and hear what they can really do.

i do listen them... you can find there bunch of greate tunes, that you woundn't hear anywhere else... but also, known track can be played in interesting way, some re edits, unexpected way of mixing two tracks... i can be very inspiring... especially for young adepts of art of mixing (like me :D )

sometimes but not often.. being a dj-producer wannabe type person i much prefer to have access to all the tunes i like individually & in full

Listening to livesets is a great way to discover good stuff, It's also very enjoyable to listen to the mixing.
