dig2k
depends... i prefer the slower 2stuff usually tho
John
what do you consider slow and what fast? i dont really care about the speed of a track..we have pitch control for that :):) as long as it is not TO slow or TO fast (120bpm sux and so does 200 hehehe)
peace

I prefer when the beat is around 140 bpm. Only a few tunes are good when itīs slow like 120 bpm and only a sertain type of trance is good when itīs fast like 160 bpm or higher. imo

c-ya...

I voted for fast.

I prefer from 145 - 150 bpm. Is it slow or fast?

It depends on the point of view. It's RELATIVITY another time.

slow trance? i'd call that progressive:p

fast trance, the kind of stuff that gets me moving and dancing!!!

OK, let me clarify, since some of you have asked questions:

* SLOW is something like 120-135 bpm, the progressive/housey style, lounge, or anything relaxed
* FAST is something like 136-145 bpm, stuff like Tunnel Trance Force, Jules @ Qontact, etc.

And no, I was NOT talking about something ultra-fast like 160 bpm (hardcore). We're not considering that here.

Well, with that definition I definitely prefer the fast tunes:D

Well I went for slow but that was before I saw your definition, Eugene - I only really get into stuff like tunnel trance force when I'm at the gym but I couldn't dance to it all night, it would make my head hurt :stongue:

However I couldn't dance to slow prog either ... round about Ferry Corsten speed, that's what I reckon is ideal ... what's that, medium trance?
