Hey all,

There was recently a discussion about favorite Paul van Dyk livesets...and after giving this one another listen, I would have to say this ranks among my top favorite 3 of alltime. This set has a diversified tracklisting and features some tracks that I really haven't heard much in other livesets...this would really be considered a studio set since it was recorded for BBC Radio.

I've posted it to my web server so you all can d/l and listen...
Tell me what you think.

IMO most of his best set's are from 2000 for sure! There must have been something in the water pvd was drinking that year I think. :)

One set that stands out to me is @ home in london... its not so much the tracklist but rather that you hear so much energy from the crowd, its crazy!

Of course there have been the odd other good ones.... mayday 2002 is another that springs to mind

The essential mix from 2003 had some good tracks, but his timing was terrible

Agree with Shellsh0ck, the mix from the casino is crisp, and had some kick ass tracks, thats when i first heard Taiko - Silence, i was like :eyes:
DJ Mikey Mike
It was a bit disappointing really.

Yes, I will agree his stuff from year 2000 was off tha hook - Live @ Home and Mayday 2000 are two of favorite sets...he really had something going that year, the music was truly awe-inspiring, to say the least,

All the best in PVD,
Ward
