yeah, pett, carn, danielle and i drove last year and i'd recommend flying. as i said..its 28 hrs. thats 2+ days of work, plus u'll need recovery time. if u book tickets now, it will be cheap to fly. u hafta factor in the 20-30 a day parking costs in miami
and driving 28 hrs after 6+ days of partying in the sun and sand..doesn't make for an enjoyable roadtrip |

Yes we did the road trip and I would recommend to ANYONE and EVERYONE, book a flight now when they are somewhat cheaper, I spent more money on the road/driving part then i did in Miami, excluding hotel. between 4 people on the way down and back we EACH had to fill up at about $25 american x 4 or more times, so thats over 100 american, plus food, it got pretty pricey. And then there was the sitting in the car for so long, and the drivig home after being drunk and ed all week.....no one wants to drive, made it very hard for coming home.
My advice: Think about it very carefully.

And jesus whats with all the TA's going this year??? Last year there were only a slected few present. I want to go back, but i wont be able to with money and god damn school.

i'm contemplating it still. it depends on if i can do europe this summer or not. i'll have enough $$ to fly down if i don't, so i definitely would

If you extend your trip long enough you can fly out of Buffalo for as low as $260CAD. Parking at the Buffalo airport is cheaper than Pearson and it is easy to get to.
As Killah Monkey has mentioned we have everything booked.. our condo is right on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach. Costs a little more but worth it for the location.
I know it is a little early to start a countdown but I am really excited.. 117 days and counting. |
