I want to go, but i am scared of being disappointed :D, so I don't know if I should go..

I'm not much of a trance guy which is why I skipped on tiesto last night.

What has oakie's been up to lately??

Don't go if you don't like trance. End of discussion.

I'm going :) I'm hoping he puts on a decent show...some classics maybe but I'm not expecting that much

Oakenfold tore it up @Nation in July..... maybe he'll do it again?

I wanted to go, but I had other plans... which actually ended up getting cancelled last minute.

OK I was there, and it was packed as hell... almost as full as it was when carl cox came.

It was OK... it just about met my expectations. The tickets were $40 (rediculase!) which I thought was pretty insane (but still nothing compared to $65 for tiesto.) I went with a couple of my friends and my gf (who is a hip hop person), and she loved it. Oakie's mixing is not something I would brag about... He trainwrecked a few times, and a few boos could be heard, but the audience seemed to forgive him too quickly

I mean we didn't pay $40 per person to hear that ya know?
There was no guest list by the way

he also played
- david guetta - the world is mine (??? mix)
- 7 cities
- greece 2000
- southern sun (i forget what mix it was)
- a track that sounded like "message in a bottle" by The Police (with words 'sending out an SOS')

I almost puked when oakie dropped that NU trance/prog track 'zocalo'
I cannot stand it

we left 15 min before closing to avoid long lines at the coat check (we stood in line for exactly 1hr to get the coats checked in)

You must have very short discussions most of the time. Stretch to be verbose!
