rock addicts hate Simple Plan or something like that

That isn't the "way it is" with those artists. Benassi actualy had some awesome songs and remixes that I was hooked on.
As far as Simple Plan goes not only is the lead singer annoying and arrogant but their music is horrible. Their general song content, the fact that he whines as a form of singing worse than I've ever heard, etc.
50 Cent had talent but then went downhill so just like a lot of people say, he does indeed suck at this point in time but Power of the Dollar was a classic album and Get Rich or Die Trying was quite good as well. |

50 cents sucks big time... he has no skills at all. His beat are not bad, especially those by Dr.dre, but the rest sucks. |

He does suck a hell of a lot now but he started off doing fairly well with his first album and followed it with a more commercial but still fairly catchy second album. This third one was horrible though. |

not really. the post prior to mine states, fiddy had pretty good skills on his earlier work but he did go downhill. |

| Benassi isnt that horrible. he still has a few good remixes out there; Ready To Wear (Benny Benassi Remix) for example. his shtick does get old though but its no different than pvd's signature bassline, except maybe cheesier.. |
