A guitar has been developed for the rocker who wants to keep an eye on royalties while strumming out hits at the same time. Guitar company Fender has created a prototype design for musicians living in the digital age. Technology built into the back of the instrument will allow rock gods to send a quick email in between playing songs on stage. Touring musicians will be able to record a riff in the back of a van and email it to their producer on the guitar. The creators have used the hollow space inside the guitar to insert the technology, and say it will not effect the sound. Wannabes will be able to download and playback their favourite riffs from the internet so they can sound the part without touching the strings. Rockers will be able to scour the web for chords, check their royalties on-line, or simply plug in headphones and listen to music on the guitar. The Intel Concept Telecaster Guitar is likely to cost several thousand pounds if and when it hits the shops. Intel UK marketing manager Chris Hogg said: "Forty years after the first surf guitar sounds came out of California, a new generation of 'surfing guitars' have been born.
"With this guitar, it doesn't matter if you're Joe Walsh or Joe Bloggs, you'll sound just as good once you download a few of your favourite tracks, and strike a pose in front of the mirror. "And if you're already halfway to becoming a rock legend, this guitar will help you to record, playback and email your music to your agent, your band, or just your mates with the minimum hassle."

I've been working on a new design, the first prototype is almost complete. It is a toilet seat equipped with a 802.11b WAN wireless LAN connection. Imagine emailing friends pics of your logs while they are still steaming hot. Connect to live feeds from ratemycrap.com and take a dump with folks around the world, viewing bowel movements live as they happen with dolby surround sound and high resolution video. This new technology is a must for any enthusiast!!
