Shocking and very interesting.

Also, a WP columnist's more detailed take on this issue (I recommend you read this first):

You can scroll down after that first entry (which is a follow-up) to see the original post on this topic.

Bush was considering bombing the Al-Jazeera stations, which would imply bombing Qatar (an ally), in order to block the inflow of propaganda (some would say "useful information"), but Blair persuaded him not to do it.

AND: Where do you see this story first? That's right. NOT IN THE (good ol') USA. Only in Europe!
Lover Boy
All media agencies have been gagged in the UK from speaking about this now.

Come on Big Brother!

that's also an opinion. i don't think too many people would care for it. it's just the fact that you're bombing some of allies lol

The Greek
I think they did hit Al-Jazeera but by "accident." I saw that one of their field correspondents got killed doing a report while standing on the roof of some building to get an aerial shot of the capital. There was no activity around them for the bombers to fly by and drop one bomb over them, that's why they thought it was intentional. The U.S. did issue an apology, however.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Bush and his messianic terrorist aspirations. :whip:

Only when you're trying to make a case for weapons of mass destruction. I suppose it doesn't make much sense in every other instance :conf:.

wasn't it israel's fault nowdays?

Bush is an emotional president and makes his decisions on his emotions and hunches. that's his huge problem.
