Also I doubt they'd be $850 for your Cavalier. 15 inch tires are cheap. I paid $403 for 4 Blizzak WS50s mounted and balanced on my wheels last year, 195/75-14 (14"). 15s won't be much more. |

The z24 actually has 16" alloys 205/55/R16 and I have already bought a full set of all-seasons last November so I KNOW what I am talking about..:D
the cost for new tires were $210/tire and they were on sale last year too.. |

If I could remember the name of the tires I got you wouldn't think that I got hosed considering they are high-performance tires and the second best on the market at that time!

fack, I have to drive around all day in this crap. I dont really have road rage, but I think i'm starting to pick it up abit with all this driving. You see so much STUPID people all the time! :whip: lol!
I actually like driving in the snow, just not when i'm working lol.
Tips for winter driving from me hahaha:
- **DRIVE SLOWER!** even the speedlimit is sometimes too fast in some conditions people! (common sense, not so common!)
- Like cale said, if you can, get some winter tires. (some people, like me, dont have the money right now for that lol)
- Top up your windshield washer fluid! (its $3, keep an extra one in your trunk!)
KNOW YOUR FRIGGIN CAR AND HOW IT REACTS!
Go into an empty parking lot that has snow. Just so nuts. Try turning the wheel sharp, see what happens! Slam the brakes! Slam the brakes and then try to turn. Use your hand brake. Do anything. All these things will better help you understand how your car reacts, so if you get into a situation where you have to brake hard in snow, or use your handbrake, anything, you will have a better understanding of what will happen, and more likely to get out of it without a crash or getting hurt. |
