On December 10th I will be hosting a small psytrance event code-named REVIVAL for friends and co-conspirators to celebrate a pair of birthdays and the imminent relaunch of the Ektoplazm web presence. The venue will be spruced up and some extra sound is being deployed to deepen the bass and fatten the rhythms that will be pumping from the speakers. This is a psychedelic party, and it is a tradition with Ektoplazm events to showcase the wide spectrum of trance... you might hear anything from full-on to old school Goa to the deepest funkiest progressive grooves.
I'll be celebrating my 25th year, and Emil (Cyberdream) has recently turned 30. If you're in the generous mood, drinks, music, blanks, and jewel cases are all appreciated. I will have copies of my new mix Mystic Revelation to give away as well! That's my gift to you... well, whoever shows up early anyway ;)
The venue is Celts Pub, 2872 Dundas St. W., located in the Junction neighbourhood of Toronto.
This goes 9pm to 3am and it will be 19+ so bring ID!
$5 or PWYC (pay what you can) don't skimp out cuz you're broke in other words ;) we're just looking to pay back the venue costs, which shouldn't be too hard.
There will be a tip jar up by the DJs so if you appreciate the beats drop in some change!
