An amazingly useful bit of wisdom...

I often have so much to do that i feel overwhelmed. The more tasks get added to the to-do list, the worse it gets, and the less desire i have to even begin. An amazingly useful bit of wisdom i discovered last night is the realization that no matter how many things you have to deal with, you'll always deal with just ONE at a time. Whether you have 2 problems, or 2000, they will always, ALWAYS come single-file. Therefore, it's just as easy to tackle 2000 problems as it is to tackle 2 - it only takes longer. What i do now is picture a narrow corridor, with problems lined up in front of me, single file. I knock the first one out, and another immediately steps up to take it's place. I simply swing another punch, and off it goes! Then i simply keep on swinging until there are no problems left! Dealing with all of them WOULD be impossible, but dealing with one at a time is CAKE!

Don't forget... we may be among the few who are lucky enough to have common sense. Most people couldn't find their way out of a paperbag if their life depended on it.
