GA- redeemed himself with the tunes that put him on the map back in the days. Absolutley incredible. I called it & he played. "TAKING OVER SPACE"!!!!
Talla- did an excellent job but for some reason i started not feeling the same vibe. either way he played an excellent selection of oldies but goodies. SO i decided to call it quits for the night & headed home.
Last night brought back so many memories & last night I saw so many people i haven't seen since Shadow Lounge. From what I saw the spirit of TRANCE will NEVER DIE!!
Great to see all the hardcore TRANCEHEADS OUT & IN FULL AFFECT!!!
I hope they do this once a year cuz going back through memory lane feels good. I had a BLAST!!!
I'll see some of you tonight.....

As you aging pookieheads may or may not know, I live in LA. Heard about the reunion, and lamented the fact that, I live in LA. Would that the day could be possible to relive the happiest club days of my life (summer 98 - summer 99), and it may never happen again, what did I do? You guessed it, fellow aging pookieheads, I threw good sense to the wind, and flew on the busiest travel day on EARTH to jump up and down, and party like it was 1999 again.
All I can say?

It was like no time had passed.
Edgar V, rocking the classics, opening for George A. He looked so happy. The crowd was beginning to swell, and I noticed SO many familiar faces in the crowd, it was surreal. Not only that, but they were all taking their old places on the dancefloor. Meanwhile, how do I remember their old places? Heck, let me get to mine!
There's my angel. Smiling and jumping and laughing and singing. No wings necessary. Allegra pounding her fists and swinging her hair and turning the room into her own. Damn it! I don't have a camera!
Flood lights ON, train horn ON - George going on, and KICKING it up 50 notches! Everyone's hands in the air! Yup, this was worth flying cross country for! WHAM-WHAM-WHAM-WHAM Thank GOD for that hot Miami chick who gave me earplugs! Besos Maria! Long time no see! :tongue3
Jesus Christ, have they aged at ALL? George looks younger than he ever did, Allegra was jumping all over the place, Edgar smiling and Talla too - SO much ENERGY - Why aren't clubs still like this?
My fave song? Kai Tracid - Liquid Skies, as if you couldn't tell
Talla - rocked - took it down a few notches from George, and the room seemed to clear a tad - probably because people had to go and get SOME sleep before the BIG Thanksgiving feast. You could tell they didn't want to go, and neither did I. But I had to. Damn early flight! :whip:

Today, back in LA, I feel bittersweet. It was great to relive that whole time, see the old gang, and revel in a moment when everything seemed perfect. Now what? DAMN! :nervous:

| I was there and what a night it was. Unfortunately, I was unable to see any of you guys there, I was looking forward to meeting at least one of the FLTA's. I had an awesome time. I was suprised when I heard Ayla - Ayla play haven't heard that live in a long time. Good time, hopefully I'll get to meet some of you soon. |
