holly compression.... its great when its suttle and used for most elements, but in this it sticks out quite a bit and so i suggest turning it a bit down... doesn't sound good and most obvious when lows come off and you get that boost in hi's volume.
Otherwise its sounds ok, i suggest working with the percussion elements more, and trying to add some original synths/elements/etc.
right now this sounds like it has no distinguishable elements but the melody and the poor use of compression. Has lots of pottential, I just hope you dont think im too harsh and use this critisism to help you...
* this would be a premium track 4-5 years ago but with todays ever evolving ear, and specially in this forum, you will find we pick at everything and try to look for the faults that sometimes you don't see because your too into the creative atmosphere..

nope,
i want straight reviews, thats why i post here,
if i ask for a review from someone who is irrelevant to the trance music then its pointless :)
yeah, my remixes tend to sound like 1999ish, i'm very influenced from that year(s)
yeah i know what you mean, when it comes to my work i cant see my faults, when it comes to others i'm more severe :P

Wow, disortion... nice go at the synths and bass, maybe cutoff the bass frequencies and tone the res down. The percussion is very simple also n theres a lack of effects. Im sure this could be improved alot, the idea is there and the sounds are trancy jsu alot of work needs to be done. Stick at it mate :) |
