What's your problem? I've already stated that I was referring to the stuff played in clubs nowadays. Last time I checked, your local club wasn't playing from 20 years ago. Yeah, I generalised when I used the word electro. Sue me.
What I fail to see is how you could not put two and two together. Apparently you're just another TA who would rather antagonize others regarded genre-elitist bull than actually discuss the ing topic at hand. Cease this hair-splittery.

Not Electro. Possibly Electro House..but I don't think so. Legowelt does make Electro House...like this

Electro. I like those metallic swooshing sounds in "Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass". It's like something out of a Megaman game.
Not Electro...electroclash..maybe.
Not Electro...that's the theme song from some NES video game.
That's all some kind of regular house ("prog", "disco", "funky", "french", whatever) with a buzzing synth. Aka, not electro-anything. Except for the Pryda track...only because of the vocoder and beeps and zaps. Heh. Maybe it's electro-house. But the rest...no....I don't think so...

I got news for you: Everyone isn't right. Everyone is you, ignoramus. I decide what is electro because I know it when I hear it. Yes indeed, Electro is my favorite genre, and i'm listening to an Electro Funk classic from 1981 at the moment. Like I said, how can you hate Electro, or say what you just said about me when you have no idea what Electro is? Give me a break "deiberio". I can name Electro classics from 1977-present. I can tell you where Electro came from and where Electro has been through that time, and where it is now. Which is more than you can say for yourself. Hurl useless insults at people? I don't know my music. I just really like Electro. Or I really did recently, until I got bored. Now I will probably look up disco and/or funk. Someone give me more trax like Roy Ayers - Running Away. Don't make me look for it myself, i'm on tranceaddict, where that never happens. Oh wait, i'm on tranceaddict. :wtf:
I realize I haven't actually proven that I know what Electro is, but then, why don't you prove that you know what Trance is? What do you want me to do...tell you where Electro came from?...how it got its name?...name an electro track from each year spanning 1980-present?...let's go.
I don't know it all about Electro either. Just recently Ishkur himself showed me (and everyone else) that electro-house does exist. I had not thought it existed before. But he named artists, only one of which I was familiar with. I looked em up, and yeah, I see how they would be electro-house. I'm learning all zee time. Though I don't see that i'll be discovering much about electro-house soon, as it's not nearly as FUNky as the real thing. It's there. I know roughly what it sounds like. That's all I need to know.
I guess one of the major problems is that so few people know what Electro is here. There's me, possibly Alphastarred, Beats and Beeps, Ishkur, possibly NRG2INFINIT(orwhatever).....that guy earlier who posted about Radioactive Man...
