Contrast the Circus review of last night that to the one Aria put on last December at CEPSUM where EVERYONE had a good time, cheese or not cheese. No organizational nightmares, no ppl getting kicked out in the cold, no talk about refunds or 'my last time ever here'.

Circus messed up big time and they will probably pay for it, reputation-wise, not necessarily financially.

OMG Tiesto @ CEPSUM last year was awesome...I waited like 20min in line outside, no more. I'll never forget that night...and it was my first rave ever hehe :)

I kinda knew that Tiesto @ CIRCUS would lead to problems, because it's the Circus...next time, get this guy to the Aria or a special event such as at the CEPSUM last year :)
Kaiser
Any club would have had the same problem, this is Tiesto and he wanst number one for 3 years for nothing. Blame Circus if you want but the realiy is even the clowns at Aria would have had the same problems.

Tiesto sells out and will continue to, I actually think he won #1 again this year but they simply could not give it to him 4 years in a row and hear everyone bitch about him being number #1 again.

Aria must have been a ghost town last night?
AtomicRooster
Um yea, if remeber well aria had tiesto AND GUY ORNANDEL in same night, and it was a success. Dont say what u dont know about aria, but aria would be dealing with this ALOT better, and im sure anyone on these boards would agree with me. Already with the coming of godskitchen to montreal was a bad move, because they bring djs for the money, while alot of djs that come to aria or stereo, alot of times come for montreal vibe

Yeah I was wondering how was the ARIA last night? Louis, Kal and Nick are very good DJs, but I didn't see any reviews on the net. Anyone who was at the ARIA last night could fill this?

And FYI, PVD won the #1 this year if I'm right :)

And I don't wanna start a debate, but it's my opinion that the ARIA would have done better job. They're used to headliners such as Tiesto and know what to do. Circus is, when you look at their usual lineup, not really used to that kind of event. But it's my opinion :)

Tons of SEXY women, I mean fkn model type, havent seen them out in full force for a bit now.
Tiesto played a lil harder. Still trance but a tad harder.
The light show was off the wall, kudos to Tiesto's dude.
Malek, Elie, Jimmy, the best dudes ever! Thanks guys!

Con:

Raided by cops... good game selling two thousand tickets and only being able to hold 800...
Tiesto played trance.
Ole ole ole ole ole ole ole ole....
ING PACKED! Lesson to self: never get between a tiesto fan and their god...
I like being able to see my favorite DJ up close, not behind a projector screen.

Overall the women are the most important thing and THEY WERE SOOO SEXY. Listen guys, I've seen girls at tiesto before but this was something else. They were fkn models, I swear to you. Sooooooo many cute chicks.... i want to relive the cute chicks... not tiesto.

What did you guys think? :P

Circus always gets these dynamite looking girls when Nicola Torriera spins there. They are probably the same ones. Lots of silicone and nice too look at, but after you live in Montreal for so long, who really cares? There is enough of eye candy on the street. These girls aren't particulary friendly anyway.. They come and go with each other or with their muscle guy friends and seem very exclusive...I see very little in the way of friendships being made at Circus.

wow talk about being wrong. Aria had Tiesto for F1 weekend two years in a row, on the biggest weekend of the year. Fine it was hot in 2003, but they didn't have the cops raiding them kicking people out at random if they went to the washroom! If I'm not mistaken they had their hand in bringing him to Living (tiny club, no nightmare), to CEPSUM (see above) and BEB last year as well.

They have experience bringing the biggest names. Circus decides to pull a get-rich-quick scheme by booking an international name for once, it backfired in their face.

I know who won, but you really think there could have been a chance he actually won again but they didnt give it to him due to what ever reason?

Anyways maybe Circus could have done a better job and who cares. Bottom line Tiesto sells out and girls come out of the wood works. I went last night and it was amazing! Any other club wishes that last nights crowd would have been at their own location. Girls, music and vibe was sick!

Hands down one of the best events of 2005! Actually thinking of going to Las Vegas so that I can see PVD and Tiesto in the same week end!

Just do not know if I can afford the plane tickets,

I share your opinion.

Look, I don't care which club is better blah blah blah. I won't start down that road..

All I know, is that if I had paid $100 to go see Tiesto, and got kicked out after an hour (after waiting outside for 3 hours) I would be f*cking pissed regardless of venue.

Sorry I don't speack very well english

Does anyone have the tracklist ??

I would have been too. This is unacceptable and I'm wondering what Tiesto's opinion on this. Many TAs don't care about Tiesto's opinion, but I'm wondering if he'll play at Circus again if Circus managers offer him...
