Piink Floyd - Gods, Yes?

Important theological issue here. If Pink Floyd hadn't acheieved divine status by Dark Side of the Moon, then what must a man do to become a God? Surely not whore himself out in the manner depicted within the Deuce Bigalow movies, hilarious though they were? That, in all seriousness, lacks credibility. Whores are fine, but God whores? No thank you. I'd prefer a God who aportions his loving freely, regardless of financial status. If I want to have sex with a God, it has to be because the God wants to have sex with me, not just because I'm providing some financial benefit to the God in question. Not that I would hold it against the God for having sex with people for money, though, because that's his choice, right? If that is the divine will - having sex with people for pecuniary benefit - then God can please himself and deal with the consequences later...

Lepanto, you may have a "crazy" idea or two relating to the politics of the "Bible", but to suggest that I'm on as many drugs as I actually am right now is just wrong.
But if you want some drugs, just let me know. I can ship them through Singapore or Bali. (POLITICAL HUMOUR :) ;).) |

| The tilt of the Earth's axis was actually contrived by the Peavey company in order to achieve a better audio quality from their amplifiers. Insofar as the one-armed drummer from Def Leppard, the battling feuds between genital herpes and the masked apparition from eastern Mongolia, the tilt seemed highly improbable. The amps served little to no purpose, the ice caps began to melt. In turn, this created both the gods and Pink Floyd. They are, in fact, one in the same. |

With respect to Peavey and Mongolia, I'm not sure that they should impact significantly on Pink Floyd's right to acheive divine status. I mean, one-armed drummers were relatively significant in the context of Pink Floyd's ascent to immortality, but to hold it against them?
That is wrong, man. Think about what you've just done. |

But the one-armed drummer is begat from the womb of Leppardness, definitely not from the divine void of pinkish hued Floyds. The drummer may have played a pivotal role in the rising of divinity, but this brings in even more theological conspiracy derived from the wonder of "just where is that other arm?". Methinks Peavey is using it to destroy the ambrosia fields with which Floyd remains alive and nourished. |

I think you actually need to re-read the history of "the Floyd", my friend. The Leppardness actually stems from a different prog-rock phenomenon, completely distinct from the Peavey conception of divinity. Though, Peavishly, we may accept both the divinity of the Floyd and the "Def", only one has ever manifested itself as the immoratal conception of prog-rock, am I right? If you can't even manage the Ambrosion field - as the Floyd have navigated so frequently and with such adeptness - then I'm not sure that the responsibility of divinity can be placed so comfortably (numb, LOL!) within your hands.
You may have a problem with Roger Gilmour's divinity, but when you bring it up on an international forum, then you are ing with my religion man. MY RELIGION.
EDIT: And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, then you are crazy and shouldn't be posting in this thread. |
