Kinda trying a mash up of styles here, but you should be able to hear a big steve helstrip influence in it. Still not finished, but i'm getting there, slowly hehe.
Feedback & opinions wanted.

Listening...
Nice Kick and percussion work, are them sampled loops or your own one shots?. I like the pvd lead, that bass is horrid tho. Try linking the bass to the kick channel and then turning that down. I luv the elements in the back. The pads sound powerful too but the mix is suffering from sum major distortion now due to that bass...
Not much going in on the breakdown, the same pvd lead, maybe originate a new riff for that? The HP filtering u should loose imo too. Good ideas, more work and this could be a really good tune. |
