| Everywhere I look, I find that the Virus B is -significantly- cheaper than Virus C. Why? Is C that much better? |

| Um, I just browsed through several pages after searching and couldn't find the answer to this specific question. Don't be so quick to tell me to search without looking yourself. |

I'm not a Virus user so I can't answer anything correctly. However, I believe the thread that allcentury18 is talking about it is here:

Hope it answers your questions :) |

Why wouldn't it be cheaper??? The C has better specs, more polyphony, more filters, more effects, it's newer, better looking... basically just a later model... That's like asking "Hey why is a 1998 BMW M3 cheaper then a 2004 BMW M3" .... well, because they introduced a new model, that's why (And yes, I do believe that the Access Virus is the BMW of synthsizers :D ... which happens to be my favorite car brand :) )

The difference between the B and C is mainly onboard FX.. The C has alot more FX.. Broader phaser/chourus/distortion-options.. I think delay/reverb is about the same though.. Also, the polyphony is better on the virus C.. Oh, and the matrix-modulation is better I think.. :-)
I would go for the virus b though, as most people add fx after recording.. I still love my KC though <3
Anyway.. google is you friend, and www.access-music.de is the manufacturer. :D |
