i was wondering if anyone uses the su 700 in making trance music. I use it in studio and on stage as well..both succesfully.
The unit can be used to produce the most powerfull sounds including all that you can imagine from EDM genres to the most weird experimental gneres :)

Listened to a couple of demos and it doesn't sound like a MUST have.
If you're in to techno or electronia this might be it, but not for trance.
For a good trance sound look up JP8000/JP8080, Accsess Virus A/B/C/TI or Nordlead 1/2/3.

i forgot to mention it's about sampling :)...su 700 is not a synthesizer. You can't compare a synthesizer sound to a sampler sound. WE can do analogies between the same gear. SU 700 is not about bass, leads, pads ..it's about percution, soundscapes, fx:eyespop:
