Whoa.. just whoa!
Great tune you got there. Cant find anything wrong about this. Nice melodies, good atmosphere, great percs.
Excellent work mate. If I find the time to make my first Prog/Psy set, I'm gonna use this one... only if you agree of course :D |

| Great track. Replace the vocal by a self made one and send around :) Reminds me of 3Drives' Sunset on Ibiza. Could be more going on I think in this one, but not a big issue. I like this. |

| Hey, Pjotr. It's, Naelyan off of the Rank 1 chat. I like the ethnic sounding feel you got in this track. This is definetely a soothing song to my ears. I like the vocals they sound nice. All the sounds come together pretty well. For a rating on a professional scale I would give you a 8/10. I can't really find too much wrong with it structurally, but i'm not feelin' that high octave arpeggio too much, but that's just personal taste. ;) |

Hey.
I dont give reviews very often anymore but this one definitely deserves it :).
-Interesting intro. Nice smooth buildup with some swirling filtered vocals. The delay and reverb on the vocals is great.
-Great bassline rythm and sound. Its very pumping and has a good roll to it.
-The percussion is subperb. Great use of the triangle in there and good kick and clap samples as well.
-The whole first third is great but it feels a bit dry. It could use some extra stuff going on. Try doing some crazy one shot effects and using a phaser over them and modulating thier pitch a lot of something.
-The first breakdown is decent but more needs to be happening here as well. Try bringing in a nice pad that is highcut at around 1100Hz or so. This will keep the excellent atosmphere you have int he song while adding in some more interesting elements to listen to. The breakoutro (where the kick comes back in) needs to be stronger as well. Again, I'd do some crazy filter stuff here. Modulate the out of stuff while lowpass filtering everything and then right when the kick comes abck in turn it off. Itll give it an explosive feeling, especially if you bring in a pad.
-I hear some pads going on throughout the last half of the song. They sound great. Bring those out a lot in the mix.
Overall, this track has a very high potential for being a killer track. Your big falling off is that the track isnt interesting enough. The current mix of the song is superb however. Some elements need to be brought forward, especially those pads in the last half. Please rework this track because I promise you that if you do, it will get picked up by a nice label.
Grade: B (but could easily be cahnged to a high A)
Cheers,

Always looking forward to your tunes Pjotr.. and this is certainly no exception. Im in agreeance with the similarity to 'sunset on ibiza'.. this tune is really damn good.. out of personal preference i would have preferred the longer breakdown to be first.. but hey thats just me
solid work man =) |
