HTML Linking to cue file problem

Okay so I had this pretty hot flash website that I totally ruined and lost by mistake. So in the meantime, while I work on another one, I just threw something together as a place to host my mixes.
As of now, I only have one set uploaded, as well as the cue file.
The link to the set works perfectly, but when myself or anyone else attempts to follow the link to the .cue file, an error is recieved.
now... I copied the .cue file and renamed it to a .txt file, and it works perfectly, anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?
here are the links:
http://www.robdawg.com (fowards to www.djrobdawg.com where my hosting plan is)
http://www.djrobdawg.com/audio/RoBD...ROBDAWG2005.mp3
http://www.djrobdawg.com/audio/RoBD...ROBDAWG2005.cue
http://www.djrobdawg.com/audio/ROBDAWG2005.txt
The spacing in the filename has nothing to do with the problem, I've tried renaming and that doesn't work, it's the .cue file extension that is causing the problem, hopefully, this being the tracklist forum, one of you guys will be familiar with this! Thanks in advance! |

| I'm sure someone in the TRACKLIST forum, which deals with CUE files would be able to help me a lot more than someone here. Please move it back. |

I am assuming that server is a Windows 2003 Server (judging by the error page generated). With this said, Windows probably has a reserved file type, .cue, for something else and does not allow linking to through a http daemon.
Don't take this as written in stone, merely speculation. But I would bet that by putting the same file on a Linux/Unix based server, it would not cause any issues. |

Indeed you are right!
.cue files “belongs " to .bin files, which is a kind of .iso combination. You usually mount .cue files in a program such as Deamontools, or Alcohol 120%
This is probably why it won't work, but I am not a 100% sure

I don't think you need those programs! The programs are used to run pirated games and DVD’s. Or legally copied ones ;)
The problem might be that the server you are hosting the file on associate the file with something else. Wired though.
