preowned ps1 games can be bought for next to nothing now.
my local gamestore only gives you a £1 each for them, and sells them back at £5 each. but if you get one, the second is half price.
i never had a ps1, but since ive got my ps2 ive picked up silent hill, resident evil 3, dino crisis, FF7, FF8 so far :)
...i want a copy of FF9 but never see it. i borrowed it and completed but wouldnt mind a copy myself. |

If you don't mind buying a PS2 that isn't region locked then you should come on over and purchase one of the many that we have lying around in our bins. |

didnt actually think it was that bad :P
it was the best looking FF on PS1 IMO |

| I'm playing through Final Fantasy VIII just now as I've completed VII, IX, X and X-2 but never defeated the final boss in VIII (yes, I played the game for 40 hours and then gave up right at the end). Drawing magic is BORING. :eek: If I don't get to see the ending this time then I'm going to burn it. |

It wasn't bad, that's the thing! It's just that the game came out too late in the PS1's life cycle. |

dont worry i did the same thing but worse. i spent hours upon hours getting every character up to lvl 100 [hey i was bored] then gave up when i got to the last dungeon because i hated losing everything....i failed at it once then just never returned.
until earlier this year, when i completed it. i have to say thats probably the hardest final storyline boss i've tried [7,8,9,10,10-2] its the only one that really forces you to use healers and tactics etc:whip: |

the thing about the last boss is that u can't use magic or summon gaurdians. it's strictly regular attacks and limit breaks.
took me 2 hours to beat her |

For some reason the final boss past Ultimecia was named Big Boobs in my copy... and I don't know how.
...no joke either. |
