whoa that looks rough!
med school is not all that it used to be. not sure why you want to be a doctor but there are other career alternatives vlad! i think a starting doctor doing residency makes $50k USD/year?
whereas, i have a friend in IT, finished his CCIE when he was 19, and makes 6 figures |

Suck it up you ..I did 22 credits from Freshman yr in pre-med...and at least 20 credits every semester until my last semester senior year.
I took 3 sciences each semester..like my fall semester junior year was Molecular Bio, Physiology, Anatomy and throw in a YEAR of Physics.
Oh plus labs on all those too.:whip:  |

I have no problem taking all the classes, I actually want to, I think it would help me keep my head on straight. I just hope I have enough money left over from my school loans to cover all those credits. |

The last thing on my mind right now is paying off the loans, because what Ill owe for LIU will be pocket change compared to what Im gonna owe to the medical school that I go to. Hopefully though, with the career path that Im choosing, those loans will get repaid quickly. |

Dude, i have been out of school for 4 yrs and still owe about 63K all said and done, and now w/ interest rates the way they are...forget it. Im gonna have a mortgage AND loans...its gonna blow goats. And Vlad, I dont mean to bring you down, but doing what you truly love is the most important thing...but doctors nowadays really dont see the money like the good ole days before HMOs...they take their sweet ass time paying doctors...thats why you dont see anyone paying 55 per office visit like when I was a kid...and thats just walking in the door.
Thats one of the reasons I didnt want to bust my ass in med-school for for 4 more yrs + residency...i dont want to be 65 when Im enjoying my money.... |
