Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a toxic level of vodka redbull to watch out for, my girlfriends and I tend to drink tend to drink copious amounts while clubbing on occassion. Just wondering (as a former biochem major) if anyone experienced any unusual side fx besides just being a more energetic drunk. stories are welcomed as well...

Vodka Red Bull (more specifically, Grey Goose Red Bull) is the devil. It's what I was drinking when THIS happened. I don't even remember how many I had before I passed out. :eyespop:

Only thing that's happened to me from too many vodka Redbull's is a mean hangover. The sugar in the Redbull leads to a really bad crash the day after. Stick to vodka soda or vodka cranberry for late night drinking :D

the thing that you really need to watch out for is heart trouble. the vodka thins the blood and the red bull speeds the heart up. this, for people with weak hearts, can cause a massive heart attack. also 8 redbulls in 1 day can also create massive heart problems if done too much. if you just do this say on the weekends and in a semi-moderated fashion you should be fine. and by semi-moderated i mean basically dont have 50 vodka redbulls in a weekend every weekend for a few months in a row. thats almost the same as drinking 8 a day throughout the week.

Heart attacks are usually the result of a blockage... I don't think you'd have to worry about this as much if you have 'thinning of the blood.' This is why doctors suggest Aspirin to people if they've just had a heart attack -- it makes it harder for your blood to clot ('thinning it'), thereby making the blockage to your heart less severe.
