Never thought I'd say this, but for once, a remix of a classic sounds good & refreshing.
Like it very much, nice interpretation man! (sounds even a bit like Fire & Ice - lost emotions) =)
keep it up! |

first of all i must say that "Shaken Not Stirred" owns C Sharp, and im always dissapointed that no one chooses to go with that instead..
to the track:
bass, percussions, sounds perfect, the vocal chants are very good..
i love the bass as well.. the breakbeat section sounds alright.. production quality is mint.. does good justice to the original |

nice drive from the start.
bass adds a good vibe.
sounds very platipus from 2000. 'moogwai - a night out?'
vocal is so 'age of love' add a quick gate? :)
breakbeat gets a bit much
but at 2;58 it sounds awsome! so evil and dark! saw synth is a bit cheap so maybe change it for something similar.
this track changes in style about four times throughout.
4;30 - this melody reminds me of why i started to really love trance.
armix of gouryella come to my head.
if i had done this track id re arrange it so its a track that loses most of the breakbeat but instead builds until it gets to the 4;30 part.
6;18 is nice with the breakbeat not but i dont like the saw synth.
overall i love a lot of this!
great work mate
rich:)
ps.. give my newest thread a check and review if you have a moment paulo:) |

| Your sounds are all nice. Intro is good.. but 5 minutes in and I have to concentrate really hard just to reconize the melody, which sounds all muffled in the background. It's kinda frustrating really because everything else sounds really good. Also I don't really like the gating thing you used. To me this song needs the triolets. Sorry if I'm a bit harsh but this is like my favorite piece of music of all time. ;) |

| Yeh, where's the melody gone? If you're remixing a classic such as this you need to keep a large proportion of the melody intact so it's recognisable. Sounds almost like breaks to me which is original I must say. I like the overall feel of the tune but you need more melody. |

Hi mates, thanks for your feedback.
The original melody, the main melody is after the breakdown , and I only kept that from the original since there has been quite a few other remixes (released and unreleased) which featured more of the original melodies , I love the original song, but I didn't want to copy it, I wanted to add my own touch to it and show it to the world, this is my tribute to this classic.

I think it needs a bassline :D
Or a stronger more out there bassline :)
And it's distorted...I don't know why. |

Thanks for your comment, make sure you are using decent headphones or speakers, not your computer's. hihi
What is distorted by the way.

Wow, nice overall sound! Some of your older productions sounded a bit harsh but this is really warm and "round"... :)
Like the breakbeats, percussion, vocal chants and the changing "styles" - really interesting sounds!
Only thing i donīt like is the lead sound after 4:10...
Great work mate! |
