do a lot of people actually show up at guv on NYE even tho there are no headliners?

NYE at the Guvernment is rammed every year. They haven't had a headline since Max Graham a couple of years ago.

Personally I don't think it makes a difference. We all know that our locals are more then capable of doing just as good a job.

Be sure to come by Gallery for a bit, cause we're going to be holding down the fort in there all night :D

Because Guv belongs to one man already...Mark Oliver ;)

(Armin is in Laval, Quebec for NYE, for anyone who cares)

Bahahaha what a sad lineup for NY's.

I know where I WONT be lmao
MarkT
people laughing at this lineup are just showing their ignorance...IT'S THE SAME F**KIN' THING EVERY YEAR

complain about the lack of "big names", but if you think MO, Deko-ze, Barrato, Addy, Manzone & Strong and Sydney is a "" lineup...well, I can't help you ;)

It's a NYE tradition to have Mark Oliver solo and any year I've been has been a blast. Adding a bunch of Toronto's other fine residents means this year should be no different!

(yes, $40-50 isn't exactly a bargain, but it's also not ridiculous for an all-night party).

Mark Oliver on NYE is a treat ... I was there for a bit last year and he was seriously solid.

If I wasn't on call this is the party I would be at. The MO Solo nights are probably my fav nights at Guv.....with Deko-ze and Sydney in the Gallery....this night would be awesome....people underestimate the great talent we have locally.

The sad thing is.....KH is for Hip Hop.....:( :( :( :( :( :(

cool... that leaves more room for the other 6000 people that show up every NYE ;)

also, if you think that is a "sad" line up... you're obviously not too musically inclined, and probably should leave to real partying to the actual heads.

on another note.. why bring headliners for NYE when you get 6000 people without? pretty stupid waste of tens and tens of thousands of dollars. besides.. The Guv provides this city with the best music from around the world on a weekly basis.. the guv books more headliners per year then ANY club in North America. I say NYE with the best locals in the city is a treat!

p.s. If anyone likes dirty electro with a spinkle of house and breaks, stop by the gallery from 10-12.. i get to open the room! Booya!
