Are you one of London’s unsung Trance Hero’s ?

Then We want YOU !!
Addiction has always strived to bring new DJs to the scene. In the last year people like Mat Lock, John Funnell, Chrysus, James Terry and many more have all played their first set at Addiction and have gone on to gain residencies and play at some of London’s finest event’s.
The Competition is now on !
We’re looking for the next Generation of Trance DJ….. The Competition is open to Progressive, Tech Trance, and Uplifting Trance DJs. If you can keep the BPM’s down and warm up the crowd by setting the correct pace for the night then this is your chance to be heard.
The Prize
We’re offering two DJs the chance to play from 6pm til 7.30pm for Addiction’s Thursday night event’s @ Freedom in February. This will not only be a great chance to play in a comfortable sized venue, on a great sound system, but also a chance to construct the perfect warm up. Each DJ will also be provided with some free drinks on the night, and the DJ that plays the best set out of the two (as decided by the promoters) will also play a warm up at our next major event. Whether this be Addiction @ Deep Blue, a back room for a major London party or a Summer Boat party not only will the winner get to play a much higher profile gig but will also get paid for their efforts !!
Mixes will be judged not only on beat matching but on overall progression, track selection, individual style and strong technical ability always goes along way.
Artwork will not get you anywhere, so please don’t waste time in Photoshop, spend it on the decks !!!

The competition closes on Thursday 15th January which is also the date of our 2nd January party. This means that you have approx 6 weeks to get your demo’s together and you can also hand deliver them in person if you so wish.

Hello Andy T & Mike Harris, how you guys doing?
Addiction is a seriously good night, Play some wicked trance and some Wicked DJ's (I did a set for Addiction back in Feb of this year) i have been to quite a few of them when they was at the South Side Bar, not managed to make it to the new venue yet but i shall do :)
This thread will probably be better off in the UK specific area of these forums, however i'll let it stay in music discussion for a little while then i'll move it to the UK section. |
