you want a stupid fad?
look at most < 18 males nowadays in america
what do they wear?
- white shirt (more like a skirt to me) that is down even past their knees
- white bandana with a black baseball cap over it or vice versa
- some stupid backpack on the back that looks like a small version of a punching bag
- and they all walk the same exact way - side to side like a bunch of penguins

you getting old and becoming like your parents when you rebelled and told them to stop buying you clothes...get use to it, generations mean change and as adults we should learn to accept things without judgements which ultimately will be the crutch of close mindedness.
i'd hate to be like my parents but inevitably you will. so stop hating on their fashions and begin to understand it cuz if you don't do it now, you might be hard on your kids later on. its the sad truth...but everyone has to face it..called growing up |

First: I just love the cute little doggie in your avatar He's SOOOO CUTE! He's so adorable, if he was humping my leg I'd definitely smile and let him finish. :nervous:
as far as dress code goes: I see the trend split into 3 camps:
Camp 1 (more like a ghetto): You already described
Camp 2: "That 70's show" crowd. You know - kids who wished they lived in 70's and their dress code reflects that.
Camp 3: Never changing, run of the mill Kmart/Walmart/mart redneck/white trash/urban and any variation in between.
BUT....
nONE of these styles are as offensive as what we used to wear in our day.
BUGLE BOY anyone?
How about Z-Cavaricci?
Vanilla Ice hairstyle?
MC Hammer banana pants?
All I need to do is look at my HS photos and CASE BECOMES CLOSED!
