after a brief re-fascination with CS 1.6, i'm back to CS:Source.
I've been asked several times to join clans or even into cal, but i turn them down. I don't really want to have obligations of going to organized scrims or "pro practicing."
If we want to all meet up and have a good time on a server, then i'll be in. good way to make friends, eh?

i played cs for yrs and stopped about 1.5 yrs ago. Just got cs source now and wow, its taking me a while to get the hang/feel of the game.
also my video card can't really handle the gfx even on low . so im force to use 800x600 resolution with about 20-45fps on sum maps.
Can any 1 recommend a vid card that can max out source? |

Not quite sure what u mean by max out but, a 7800gtx would do ya good! 800X600 is a bad resolution for CSS! I have a ATi Radeon 9800 Pro and the game runs fine for me. That would only cost u a couple hundred if that. |

| i used to be really good at 1.6, was in a clan, would get ratios of around 6:1. the clan has pretty much died and so has my intrest in 1.6. nowadays, i play source, i dont do too much online play, i mainly play against the bots. bots dont cry when you repeatly scout them, so yeah, its more fun that way. if anyone wants to play me sometime though, just pm me sometime. |

Yes, the settings are something like that. Thats what I play on. Been owning it up on the PowersGaming Deathmatch server lately, somebody step in and give it a try :toothless |
