STROBE LIFE SESSIONS 030: guest MARTIN ROTH (GER)
Over the past few months, there is one name you just could not miss if you are following the Electronic dance music scene: Martin Roth from Frankfurt, Germany. The experienced DJ and electronic dance music producer is certainly no newcomer: already known by project names such as YOMC and TECHNOPUNK, and including several other co-productions, Martin has established a 10-year track record with over 150 releases and (Re-) Mixes to his credit. In 2004, he made the ultimate breakthrough under his real name MARTIN ROTH with a remake of the trance classic 'The Orange Theme', constantly played by the most prominent trance DJs. Around the same time, PAUL VAN DYK discovered Martin’s track 'Energize' (released under the project name TECHNOPUNK) and remixed it under license from Nukleuz Rec. for his own label VANDIT. Since then Martin Roth is red hot, escalating to DJ champions league with his recently completed remixes of Jose Amnesias 'Second Day' and a remix for the brand new Paul van Dyk single 'The Other Side'. Both tracks have already received massive support from the world's DJ elite. Currently, Martin is putting the final touches on his new EP 'shockwaves' (including the already circulating megasmasher 'last time') as well as working on remixes for the new singles of UK's top acts 'Thrillseekers' and 'Solarstone'. Enviably, in addition to his exceptional talent as a producer and remixer, Martin is a highly experienced Deejay and Live Act performer. Spinning records in the top clubs and big festivals from Australia to Europe, Martin knows how to give the party crowd a good time! Besides usual Djing, he recently started performing using the software 'Ableton LIVE', which helps him to blur the borders between DJing and Live performance, making any of his performances a unique event. He loves to energize the masses at festivals like EARTHCORE or Utopia (attracting 10,000+ crowds), and equally enjoys cramming the floors of other clubs and smaller venues with people, from warm atmosphere of London's HEAVEN Nightclub to Sydney's club, HOME.

| yup... that wierd remix of KEANE's "this is the last time" got leaked online and it all snowballed from there... that hard yet melodic sound and flangey melodies are just MADE for the dancefloors... he adds that dark element to his latest remixes too, which is great... hope u guys tune in, i got some great guests along with Martin Roth within the next month and a half, including the new additions of Oliver Prime, Bart Claessen, Baby Anne, and none other but Scot Project.... and you can hear these DJs only on Strobe Life Sessions! so show some support, weve been gaining more and more listneres every week, i want this to be BIG! ;) |
