Gemini PMX-18 Mixer????

Hey all
I've been offered a Gemini PMX-18 2 channel mixer for fairly cheap.
It is worth picking up as a starting mixer?
I'd like something that will allow me to play around a bit, but the mixer ONLY HAS TO LAST ME TILL AUGUST. Long story why, but ...
Supposedly:
2 Channel
Rotary master and balance with bass and treble controls
2 phono channel
2 line, 1 mic input
Cue fader
Gain control for each channel
Removable crossfader and tranfor switchces
Talkover with "mic on" LED indicator
Two function LED meter (program/output)

This is fairly urgent, so if anyone has any thoughts or experiences, please post them.

If it works without any noise in the faders, you can buy it. I work at a rental service, and we have gemini mixers there (PMX 2001), but after 1 year of abuse by students :p the faders had to be replaced, en you cannot buy those faders anywhere. So if it works, and you use it gently (read: no beer above it), you have a nice starting mixer.
