My mom would post in this thread if she was TOTA..but she's not, she's a 55 yr old librarian. I had to drive her station wagons around for years, thank God I have my own car now. I used to look around before getting out of my car when I was going to school.

^ those ..things.. are exactly the reason that wagons are getting such a bad rep today. I have no idea what the designers were smoking when they came up with those things. It hurts to look at them. The rear overhang on the Chevy must be close to 2 feet. American design at its best for ya.

Yeah, how dare they make a large car that can hold alot of cargo

Wagons dont have a bad 'rap'. They are simply looked at as grocery getters for middle aged folk. And guess what! Thats what most of them are marketed as! It's only recent that they are being pushed toward a younger market as something sporty. And its working! There were very few wagons in the 90's. Now there's a ton.

I remember my parents' friends had an '82 Parisienne wagon. There was seating for 8 in there!

My dad tells me back in the 60's if you wanted a fast car that was cheap to insure, you'd get a station wagon and throw in a big block. Best sleeper ever.

Big ups to the Volvos! The only true Volvo is a wagon! :D
