I'll start with the things I didn't like :p

Clap is too bright, doesn't fit with the rest, should have been warmer.
The vocals don't blend in with the music, but since they're ripped from another production it's allright.
Too slow, no takeoff :(

But except that, it sounds good.

oh 320! cheers mate:)

intro:

nice little sounds. and im enjoying the slightly slower style.

1;45 - i like the vibe. really nice full sound.

2;10 - love the bassline. you got such a nice overall sound which paves the way for....

ENYA!!! - brilliant. it sounds like the vocal were recorded specifically for this track! loving the xylophone melody. really trancy and done in a sophisticated way.

4;40 - hope the break would be longer and more moving:( the vocal that come in when the beat starts would work really well in a long break..

5;50 - a nice proper break but maybe could be more 'moving'

6;55 - xylophone back and that melody is really nice. id incorperate it in a longer break.

overall a really dj friendly tune that suits a mix cd more than a dancefloor. you worked with those vocals really well indeed.

great work mate!

rich:)

Thanks a lot guys...about the bpm it is at 128bpm...I started with that initially but when i added all the vocals - I couldn't really increase the bpm as the vocals might go out of sync (or more out of sync:D)...but I haven't tried.
The Drow - I don't have an acapella for it, I used the original track and cut parts out of it. PM me your msn address sure too:)

I got the same impression. The overall sound of it was really well done, but I felt that it was building to something that never came. However I very much like the way you implemented the vocal sample - it fits in perfectly.

Thanks a lot guys, I kind of intended the main part to be after the first small break, the chorus part of the tune. But I see what you mean about a proper buildup too :D

cool! :D

I have two other remixes from the LOTR. and this one have I never been thinking of!
love the bassline.

Long time I have been smiling so loooooong!
I realy enjoyd this!

The bad:
The vocals don't blend in with the music. And the clap!

but without that.. I love it

I will give it

9/10 because of the vocals. Try to find a acapella ;)

If you want to hear my remixes of the LOTR. contact me:)

Cheers

great track! ill say a couple things that i hope will make it better. first of all speed up! its too slow for me. this would make a great great dance club track. but in order to to do that, id like if it would be a little harder.. iunno maybe its my taste. i absolutely love the heavenly vocals. enya man.. enya.

you gotta send me the accapella for this one mate..
just send it over email: [email protected]

Hey rick, great little remix here.. All the sounds are very nice and clear.. loved the kick and bassline in this one.. Your eqing seems to get better on each occasion mate. Very well produced

I do feel that maybe a bit of a central motif would've helped the track.. especially past the breakdown.. not something over the top, perhaps just a new subtle melody to indicate a step forward on the tune..

Overall quite solid work but could use that main lead in and after the break, as it does sound like it's building to something even after the break.

Good job rick.
