I would have thought this was way older than 04. I was thining he was only using laptops for a while now it seems.. but i could be wrong.

EDIT: The copy right on the vid is 2002

this is an awsome vid, but yea whats up with him looking all down... i was waiting to see him start jumping up and down or something, at least at the end when he drops for an angel

I didn't think the mixing was all too terrible except for the first video.

And what's with all this "omg he looks so boring!". It's as if you've never seen PvD live at all. You should know that he isn't really the most animated person behind the decks. I always thought it was a well-known fact. He's just recently been reacting to the crowd more, but even then not too much.

All in all a pretty cool video.

Sorry if i was stating the obvious about bad mixing. I just had the feeling that people were shocked at something that can and does happen all the time. In any case PAUL RULES! thanks for the vid...

A lot of the mixing o this was out by a fair way, makes me feel better, since hes been djing since like '89 or summet...

And the fact my mixing has been disgusting recently, lol!

a nice mix is good sure, but often I feel that we expect studio quality mix cd's when almost all of those are digitally mixed, even if they say "mixed By" on the cover.

Enjoyed the video none the lad, and that MC dude is a total arse.

"Hey Miami you having a good time? make some nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!"

Fool.

PvD at ultra last year was FAR FAR better.

It was an awesome, banging set, and he really got the crowd going again and again, jumping up and down, hands in the air, pointing, smiling, etc.

And when I saw PvD at roxy a few weeks ago, it was completely different than what's in this video. For seven hours he worked the crowd with flawless mixing.

This video - highly atypical. It makes me think his mom died before the show or something hehe
