i have to leave sydney and go home to new york 2morrow and i am so sad because i have to leave my fiance as well. i have to fill out my visa forms outside of the country, so i am going home for xmas and stuff. i mean i am so happy to see my family and friends after 10 months, but i just feel so sad having to leave my man behind. :(
first when i started to look into what has to be done for immigration, i thought it would take 2-3 months. then i called the department yesterday and they said the average time the US governemnet is taking on australian visas is 24 weeks. which really really really sucks. we have spent 6 months apart before and i hated it and it really sucked.
i hate having to say good bye again.

| immigration takes a LONG ass time. though i wouldnt need to fill out papers to go to australia :D |

Well you really are getting some crappy weather for when you leave :p
Today was beautiful and sunny, but there's going to be a big storm tonight! :eek:
I <3 summer storms though :D
Sucks for you though, you are going to miss the whole summer, which is the best time of the year in Sydney.

yeah i have done student visas before, and they didnt take so long about 1 month, but now i am doing a residency visa. and i have looked online at other peoples timelines of how long it takes and the average time was 2 months. i am praying that it will be shorter than the time they said was the average.
anyway it still sucks. :( |

yes today was great. the beginning of the week it was lousy, but today and yesterday i got to work on my tan. it will be nice to go home to the cold in NY with a tan. |
