What is your ideal lighting system?

A bit of a poll, really, I guess. What do you think the ideal lighting system would be for any of the following three situations?
Low budget/smaller venue
mid budget/mid size venue
and high budget/large venue? Mix and match as you please... |

| good question m8. im not sure what they're called, but id have several of those lasers that make that 'liquid sky' effect...kick ass! and some of the higher priced intelligent lighting & efx hooked up to a fackin huge controller! |

you should check some vid's of large dutch parties, they have a very big lightning system!! (check the vid "johan gielen live at trance energy" from the music vid's, and you know what i mean). or even better, go to one of those parties. btw, in that vid with johan gielen they don't use the 5 lasers that were also there :(, but that scannerwall still kicks ass.

yes indeed, that scannerwall make me cream my pants...
cause besides being a dj, i'm also a lighting enthusiast as well :)
so don't get me started on lighting... but i'd have to go with martin products all the way and lasers that priduce the liquid sky effect |

| Ok, so we have the high end covered, since most of that stuff costs >$1000. How about for lower budgets? Are there good resources for cheap lights? |

ok a huge club MUST:
have a load of STROBE LIGHTS.....they always tripp me out..love them
LASERS - the liquid sky effect & the ones that produce images on ur wall (cuz i have that in my room & it OWNZ)
A load of FOG & or BUBBLE MACHINE
& we need to have some smart lights....
A smaller Club MUST:
Strobe lights.......need i say more?
Laser.....eventhough they are a big costly....lol....
& a fog machine.....
should do it......lol
i might be tooo excited cuz LIGHTING is EVERYTING for me....so i need a club with madd lights to keep me dancing all night long....yee yee

in my club (gonna open one when i get old enough, have already had some smaller parties with around 500 pplz) im gonna have:
2 x Mac 2000
6 x Mac 500
8 x Something FOG Machines
4 x Fancy Ass Lasers
99x Sexy Hot dancers (yes i recon these should go as interior)
other than that theres gotta be a lot of uv light (blacklight) so
the cyberdog logo on my fav shirt always will be there... not just like when im in one special corner, cus then that suxx....
i also need 2 1210īs, a pioneer 500/600 mixer and 2 cdj 1000īs...
with that, this club will be a kick ass place to be...
oh i prob. need to throw in "couple" oīspeakers and sum amps too:p |

I'm a mobile DJ and I own:
1x 1000W strobe light
4x 500W color ambient lights
2x medium fog machines
1x Martin Raptor
1x Martin Acrobat
2x large UV lights
but the Raptor and the Acrobat are soon gonna be replaced by:
2x Martin MX-25 Roboscans
