How can I start this review off? One thing Nick set was amazing thats for sure, some awesome tunes. Mixing with a Powerbook seems pretty interesting. That reminds me, have took look up the program hehe. Nick awesome job.
Christopher Lawrence set was amazing, alot of banging tunes, to bad some of you missed him. I havent been a fan of Lawrence for a couple years, but for sure this morning changed every thing.
One thing not alot of people there this morning, but still was nice to see some people there :)

Ok I just woke up...
We (some friends and I) arrived at 2h45 and Nick Pilon was on fire. It took me like 5 minutes to get into and dance like a freak. His set was very nice and I really like his style. Nick, you're one of the best dj I've seen, seriously. If I'm right he ended his set with Lolo-Why(Nick Pilon's remix), which was a killer track for me because I really like this song...One of the best warmup set I've been dancing on !
Christopher Lawrence now...OMFG. I think he killed some people last night lol ! From his first song to it's latest, there was no freakin breaks ! We just couldn't stop dancing and jumping for his whole set ! Many songs he played I didn't know them, because I usually don't listen to hard trance, but that was the most killer set I've listen. First time I saw Lawrence was at Swirl where I put a very nice set IMO and this is why I got to ARIA last night. Christopher Lawrence is for sure one of my best DJ around. I was sad that he had to leave the turntables at 7:(
I didn't stay for G O'Brien but from what I've heard he's a very good DJ. Too "funky" for me, but it's easy to get into the beats on the music he was playing. As I saw, many people where enjoying his style, but not me really :)
When we arrived at 2h45 there was like no people in the ARIA. The dancefloor was empty and I was a bit sad about it. But around 3h30-45, people started to arrive. IMO the crowd was pretty relax last night.
By the way, anyone noticed that the light tech had trouble with his console around 6h (I think)? His LCD wasn't showing anything anymore and I think he was freakin out a bit lol
I saw jesteraver, Enjoy and Marcus in the booth. After that, I lost you from my sight guys. Enjoy, you seemed to enjoy your talk with Christopher Lawrence ;) Lucky boy !
A night that I won't forget soon. Thanks ARIA, for bringing back Lawrence !!:D |

well when Lawrence arrived it wasn't really empty then. And when a big headliner like Ferry is there, it's overcrowded lol |
