Hey guys,

Usually I'm known to produce a much harder/techier style of music, but lately, I've been in a deeper state of mind and decided to write a song that portreyed my emotions a bit more. I'm curious to hear what you guys think about it...

This is an exclusive mp3 for TAs only... and may be removed within the next few days depending on the result of a pending review... so, ENJOY while you can! I'd love to hear your feedback about it :)

I love it, especially the really awesome piano-part around 7:00!
Great work!

Nothing more to add...

I like the intro.
Nice white noise, it's an albinio preset :)
Nice delay on the congas.
Nice basslines sound.
The kick should be punchier.
I'd give the bassline more notes as a end bar in here (Contact me and I'll send you a midi of the idea that I have).
The bass should be funkier.
The percs are awsome. Good atmosphere.
Nice piano melody. Change the filter cuz the piano sounds like a sine synth at the start.
Good pads. Good gated riff.
Nice sines in the back. I like the glide. How did you do this synth?
You should vary the track, it's too repeatetive.
Good track, Great atmosphere. But you need much more elements.
This is prog trance, not some long ass track with no point and with the same elements over and over again. It should progress and go somewhere.

7/10

Really good piano part. I agree about the bassline, it needs some more notes imo...
I'ts too repeatetive and long. But it's a great track. It have a special atmosphere. The reversed piano is great too.

Hey, thanks for the feedback... I think you've all given me some valid points to work on. I need to take a break from this track and revisit it with fresh ears... but I'm gonna play around with your ideas and see how it turns out. I'll repost when I've done that :)

THANKS!

Yeah. That kick doesn't sound polished at all. I wonder how it would sound with a kick a la Ferry style.

Maybe make the shaker sound tad bit softer.

A good tune to chill to. Looking forward to the final product.

Nice. So mellow, not really dancefloor. Mastering all that, very good. You could easily put down a remix of this with a different bassline and different breaks.
thoughtlessjex
Nice subdued atmosphere.

I like the panning on the arp synth.

Personally, I'd say that the breakdown is a bit much. I could hear the melody coming in earlier and some breakbeats put in for effect.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I like the repetitive bassline. That's where the character of the track truly is, so I wouldn't suggest changing it around too much.

I do think that the bass line is cool.
But it should vary every now and then.
It will add more groove to the track.
Please finish this one, I would relly like to hear the full one.

p.s.
If the full one tunrs out good I might remix (but no promises).
