Ok folks, heres probably what you are used to hearing from me. Again not really sure what to categorise this as.
It's quite dark and a bit quirky but please listen and post your comments.
Just so you know, yes I am aware of the panning issue with some of the percs and there are still a few effects and fills that need to be sorted.

first off, premium website, looks pimp.
good original intro, with some killer soundbytes, that kick is soo deep...
2min and im waiting for a progression... sounds like the tempo should go up a bit, gets a bit static but then break comes.
i feel that the drive of the intro is kinda lost in the pads and that something harder would be expected, but your the artist. soundwise its good, no mastering complaints- 128k |

Other than the perc its a solid tune, some quality issues, the main panning synth sounded a little tinny...
Will go in depth after a couple more listens.
Tough to categorize tho you are right!

love the evil melody ;) I dont know for further on.. I dont like the idea of the lead pad.. I wouldve liked a synthlead imo :)

Slick, man... real slick...
Hard and soft at the same time (until the distorted drums come into play). Then things become overcompressed, and messy.
Brutal, man... just brutal.
One things I have to say is that this sounds like a cool new style of dark trance. It's not really psy, it's more like soundtrack-ish, ID SOftware's DOOM going to the dance floor - pumping up some pure brooding madness. |

Good intro.
I like the percs.
Nice attacked stab.
Good fxes in general.
Good percs again.
I like the pad. It has a really good sound.
Loose the snare roll, it's cheesy.
Here comes the pad in the break.
Add some choirs in the background.
Nice kick off but I think you should have something else after that.
It should be more powerful, maybe a crunchy & growling bassline and a wild, all over the place riff (not saws or something defined, something really weird).
Overall you should have more elements and more bass, a heavier one.
Great atmosphere. Good sounds. But you need more.
303s just doesn't fit here in the original so I'll remix this if you'd like :)

Thanks for the reviews guys and the comments are real helpful.
It is still a work in progress so do have some issues with it myself that I hope to work on, but will add the ideas you have too.
The ending was just something I did just to have something to post. It will eventually be structured properly. Sat up last night trying to create some more sounds for it and have a few ideas. Will keep you posted.

| I give it a strong B+. It sounds a lot better than my , although that's not saying much. I think this would sell fine on vinyl as a sweet worker track. Bass- really low seems fine, low-mid needs more maybe? I could see a subtle lead with the pads that talks to you a little, just to tighten up the listeners attention a little. |
