And now, a syllogism:
Most people are tards.
There are 50,000+ people on TA.
=> Most of TA are tards.
People will be elitist, close-minded, unacceptant of criticism, unacceptant of differing taste, stupid, arrogant and argumentatitive as soon as you give them a subject to discuss. And there ain't a damn thing you can do about it. |

| My biggest gripe on these boards is people who judge others, or just act like complete s and think there is one way to experience this music, or one right way to mix, or people that are just so technical and mechanical and "me too" that they automatically assume they know everything. I hardly post on this forum anymore, I don't have a favorite DJ anymore, I never listen to ASOT, and I don't go to many club events anymore. The music should be in the forefront, the most important, and music is subjective, so it does something different for other people. When I talk on here I often like to give my side of things and sometimes it comes off as ignorant or arrogant but believe me i've seen worse on here, at least I try to be respectful. Just because it comes off like that it doesn't mean I wont listen to other people's point of view or automatically assume my side is right, i'm just passionate about certain things and don't want to see the music I love disappear. We all come from different backgrounds and music means something different to each of us, but we all enjoy it nonethless. Lately it just seems like there are so many threads on here about people disatisfied with the scene, the music, the DJs, this forum, whatever, but maybe we all need to change and rexamine ourselves and maybe things will get better in 06. |

I'll go one better for it, most people in life are tards. Everyone has a point to get across but refuses to care or listen, I think the world would be a better place if people cared. Now about TA, I've been here, nearly 5 ing years and I've loved this place because all the people did not go OMG, I must whore this and jump on the bandwagon like the last ing big thing out there. Other sites were because everyone jumped on tiesto's latest track, here you will get both sides and you may not agree with it but that's why this place kicks ass, you get the originality.
You think people like me, UWM, Ian^ among the others will give up and jump on the mainstream bandwagon. Its music that everyone loves it differently, maybe that's why my CD collection is so big, I need more space in my house for it. Its music, like anything people will hate it and love it, that's life and that's the cool part about it. |

Bro its like with anything in life. The extremists are always the ones that make the most noise. The weak people will listen to the extremists and adopt their opinions because they are weak and want to fit in somewhere. The people that are confident in themselves are the ones that stand up and say " it, I like what I like and you can go stroke each others elitist ego ".
It is the cool thing to bash on TA. Weak people will follow. Chin stroking elitists suck ass! Most haven't spent a dime on music in years. |

TA is full of elitists and so is about every other place on earth. We bash and whore just about everything and you are not going to get the same opinion for everyone like with lame ass t.nu or other sites. See here most are music educated and we know our (most of the time) and we love to post on here and contribute to threads. People like you are a dime a dozen and they have come and gone over the past 6 years, no biggie nothing new.
TA is unique because of that, if you hate it, get out, if you don't then post and contribute. |
