What is female circumcision?
Female circumcision, also known as female genital mutilation (FGM) and female genital cutting (FGC), comprises any procedure that involves partial or complete removal of any part of a female genitalia.

Because the important religious people in your community tell you that it is the right thing to do according to tradition.
Did I mention the part where they sew the female's vagina shut so that the future husband can pry it open when they have sex and have the bloody sheets to prove she was a virgin?
Or the part where the female gets serious shock, blood poisoning, and various lovely infections from all the period blood that is stuck inside of her?
