Threatening him will just piss him off more. And basically make him ban everyone on that list. Writing a petition is about finess(sp?). You have to write it in a way that he can't stop reading because it interests him so, and also it has to kiss his ass at the same time as geting your point accross. |

Sorry if I sound obnoxious but in order for me to vote for something/someone i'll need to know the following
1-WHO ARE YOU?
2-Why are you trying to justify something to a group of people who don't know who you are?
3-Who the hell is turbo and do I know him enough to stick my name up for him?
4-Is this the sole reason why you signed up on TA? We don't need your spam
If I were mod, I'd lock this from further discussion. I don't see how this pertains to anything related to the NY Community or a substantial contribution to the music scene. Any political/personal issues should be justified by the affected person(s) and the opposing party. This is not a legitmate reason to start a movement, let alone ask upon a community which you do not belong to, to support your reasons. Please reconsider your reasons before you justify a statement.
Whether it was wrong or not, it doesn't mean to superficially make up a user name and rally support from a tightly nit community. We do not need any form of promotion from outside vendors as our community clearly is and always will be on top of what we know to be ongoing in New York and surrounding areas.
I frown upon your request and expect that the NYTA not support such activities. This is our board and I am not one for personal advocation without establishing a healthy relationship with the members of this community. |
