ive been booked to play the main room in one of belfast's top venues for Boxing Night and New Year's Eve :happy2:
i'll be playing mostly funky house, some old skool and maybe semi-commercial dance (thats the music policy not my personal preference)
what i need is a good song that fits into this music policy to play at midnight NYE. suggestions please fellas! |

Spektrum - Kinda New (Tiefschwarz Dub)
It sorta goes with the whole New Year thing. Somehow.
Or just play your favourite track of the year. Which, to be fair, is probably a better idea. |

Auld Lang Syne :p
or
Royksopp - What Else Is There (SDP MIX/or maybe trentmoller mix)
seems to be doin the damage right now! |

It sounds to me like it's a slightly more commercial gig than the others have recommended for... personally I'd sell right out with Musique vs U2 - New Years Dub :p
They're probably going to want something they know... if "semi-commercial dance" is part of the music policy then that'll definately be the case. |

thats a terrific suggestion stu.
yea the crowd that goes to this club would be "casual" house fans where the most "underground" house track they know is Mylo: Doctor Pressure. there are some elite underground fans tho who quickly point out to me that Mylo: Drop the Pressure is the original  |
