See, if O'bir became a Crobar resident, everyone would take him for granted just as much as the other residents have been. It's not very crowded for Ferry and wasn't for Sander that many times. We already get great residents, yet everyone takes them for granted and wants someone different in 3 months anyhow. |

I don't think you'd even be satisfied with O'bir once he got here. Have you seen him besides on NYE and listening to recorded sets? No offense, but you're ridiculously hard to please according to your reviews of events. I think once the novelty wore off, he'd be in the same category as Ferry, Armin, PvD, and all of the other trance guys in your book. Then again, I may be wrong.
I haven't had a problem with any of their monthly residents - Sasha, Sander or Ferry. I will say that I enjoyed Sasha's sets more prior to his Fundacion events. I think a lot of that had to do with the guests, though. |

| i agree with ur two points ^^^ theres plenty other DJs that if they were to cross over the Atlantic, wed regard them as royalty.... Ronski Speed, Menno De Jong, Cor Fijneman, the list just goes on with trance DJs that have never been here (maybe Cor has though, im not sure). O'Bir's great, and a really nice guy too, but hes just as up to par with many other DJs that we should be featuring here in New York, not to mention some great local talent this city's clubs should be paying more attention to. |

palets make something crear with analogy:
if dyk were an f1 driver the dj's you mentioned
would never qualify for a single race since their
reflexes and mind isn't capable to handle curves
at extraordinary speeds ...
only once in a whilextra effort might compensate
their performance yet it is never naturally granted
by the way i don't care who plays any givenight
i just know i want to be one with the music
andream for hours unfortunately most dj's are
erratic drivers in the highway and are not more
than mere marketers with little sense of musical
harmony and dexterity
