Its the marshall's duty to protect the airplane and he did his job. When the safety of the plane is in jeopardy, he must take back control at any cost.
Yes, it was unforunate that the person killed was mentally ill, but the action against him was completely textbook (if there is an air marshall text book) |

i just got back from miami international yesterday via AA
what great timing as my company was pretty close to making me stay an extra day and leave back to NY today for some last minute business reviews that took place tuesday afternoon. Too bad I told them I was already at the airport so they couldn't ask me to reschedule my flight, imagine if I rescheduled, it would have been madness hell I woulda shot the guy myself.... |

No. But they SHOULD! What if that's you coming back from Colombia
on holiday and there really is a jackass onboard with a bomb?
No one scanned the bag so it goes "boom" between MIA & MCO.
I travel a lot, so it's a concern to me. I can see how it is not to
you folks outside the US though. |
