I had NEVER read these novels in public school, nor had them read to me.
I picked them up a month ago on a trip to TO. Im on the 3rd (or 4th depending) book, "PRINCE CASPIAN"... and its going FANTASTIC!
A MARVELOUS READ... and this is coming from a MASSIVE fantasty whore like Tristan... im AT LEAST as much into fantasy novels as he is.

Already have a date and everything :D
I own the entire series of 7 books; read them as a kid, and am really excited to see the movie version. Why didn't them come out with "The Magician's Nephew" first? Are they planning to do sequels? |

I think I'm the only one who read military history books and encyclopedias and fictional military books like Flight of The Intruder and stuff as a kid instead of fantasy , which I personally cannot stand.
Am I right in thinking I'm alone here?
But on that note, I'll probably see the movie drunk one night or something. |

I bet and know!
But it's only gonna be the one book (The lion, the witch and the wardrobe)... with the others coming out later.
|
Yeah thats what I meant they are doing - sequels. Unfortunetly I cannot see it opening night, in fact its a busy weekend overall. But definetly seeing ASAP.
BTW I think "Voyage of the Dawntreader" is my fave of the series. Such an awesome trek they take into the unknown. |

i highly doubt there will ever be a Magician's Nephew movie.. it served to introduce you to the land of narnia, the rings, etc.. but character wise it doesn't really add to the series of 6 books..
one more sleep :gsmile: |
