Boo-en-hoo! Listen to you whiners.
Dont you idiots know anything?
It's a en BUSINESS!!!
If it was you behind the decks...would you take the lowest
offer of $$$ for what you do??? NO!
So while you drink, roll & raise your arms like sheep to the
next big anthem.... he's getting paid!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! |

I understand this is a business and money talks but I also believe in not just taking only money. I think anywhere he would have played, he would have got a very reasonable offer. To my understanding he was suppose to play in south america, then i heard a few weeks back he was gonna go to montreal. No doubt that montreal has a good scene but I think when he does line ups like that, it just makes him look bad.
That is just my opinion and I'm only a spectator. I know that agents alot of times deny bookings cuz it's bad for the image of the artist and I felt this time should have been one of them. From reading exergo's post, I guess it's not that bad. but only knowing US and european clubs and promotions groups, what am I to think?? I'm sure wherever he is at, he will bring down the house but with that line up, but I can't see how good the event will be overall.

I don't get how this can be viewed as Armin has "SOLD OUT". he's played alongside all the superstars of dj's and so what if he decided to play with some local talents rather then share the spotlight with other big guns. and this venue is not 50/50 edm/hip hop. alot of clubs have a smaller hip hop room.
i dunno about everybody else but i prefer 6 hrs of my fav dj than 2 hrs of 3 diff dj's. |

| Let him do what he wants. At least Canadians will be happy. |

also, the producer of this party (bal en blanc) throws a party every year with 20,000+ people, rivaling that of trance energy in production. last year they had armin, deep dish, danny tenaglia, david morales, and a slew of others. |
in amazing bash every year:eyes:

Montreal KNOWS how to throw parties:D |

Let him play, then those hip hop fans will see what REAL music sounds like.
Then they can discover house and be truly happy :p |

i think its cool he's playing with DJs that spin other types of music. maybe he's challenging himself, because what tracks do you drop after people have been listening to bumping hip-hop for 2 hours and still keep them interested?
you can't say it won't be an interesting show |
