I disagree. Without that car, we wouldn't have this:

Respect.

i was screaming the same "omg... my car!!!" line this morning when i saw that some asshat had hit me overnight. luckly he didn't hit the body of the car, just the bumper.. but it still looks mangled. right under the tail light theres a gaping hole around the whole corner. roads were slipperly last night, i live in a corner house so buddy must've turned the corner too fast and slid into me instead of the ditch. face!

a couple years ago we had our doorbell ring at night. we werent expecting anyone. there was this older gentleman and a younger guy standing there. they told us that they hit the van on our driveway when they were making the turn where my house is located on the street.
my dad wasnt even upset that someone hit his van. he was more happy that they were decent enough to tell us about it instead of leaving the scene.

I'm Happy as now... Friday morning I left for the cottage... the snow is now gone and I figure its a good time to pull my baby out...

I was right... Used my dads 4 Runner to pull it up off the cliff... luckily it didnt fall in over course of the thaw... 3 of us were able to push it up on the back of a u-haul 2 wheel tow dolly... and now it is at home being restored after a long brutal winter...

Keep us posted :D

Spent most of yesterday and last night rebuilding it... the engine bay suffered quite a bit of corrosion over the second winter its ever seen... Spent 4 hours going at the head/block with steel wool scraping off the oxidization now it is fairly clean looking and polished... mounted the new altenator, started, and headers... finished welding the new exhaust system that will be on it... all thats left to do now is install the hoses that i've ordered from toyota, change the spark plugs, install the intake manifold and exhaust from cat back, get new rubber for my new sunset rims, charge the A/C system, fill the rad, and change the two seized front calipers

Approximate time remaining til its running: 2 hours

Damn I feel like D!abolic always talking about my car... Meh, I'm a loser
alefort
Geez, you can get all that done in 2 hours? You are efficient...
